Blocks: Difference between revisions

The grabbable[[Grabbable blockBlock]], sometimes referred to as a ‘cheese’ block is a yellow rocky textured block with the ability to allow players to grab it. Using the grip button on your controller while touching this block allows you to climb.

AThe [[Wood Block]] is another grabbable block that has the same purpose as the grabbable block, but is also often used decoration.

[[Lava Block]] is a block that, when touched by the player, kills the player, causing them to be sent to their last checkpoint, or the start of the level. It is the only block with an animated texture, and is very often used across grab due to being one of only 3 ways to kill the player. (with the other 2 being the void, and getting crushed by an [[Animations|animated]] block)

AThe [[Stone Block]] is a block used exclusively for standing upon and decoration. Serves no other purpose.

WhenThe [[Ice Block]] is a block that when moving on iceit, you gain more and more momentum, acting as if there was no friction. This allows reaching very high speeds.

AThe [[Grapple Block]] is a block that serves the same purpose as the grabbable block, but over a time set by the level creator, it breaks. Respawns after a time set by the level creator.

AThe [[Color Block/Concrete Block]] is a block where the color can be altered in the editor, allowing for better decoration. The 0.30.0 update added HEX codes, expanding the amount of colors that can be used.

AThe [[Lava Grapple Block]] is a block that acts the same way as the grapple block, but can’t be grabbed, and acts as lava. If you touch the block, you will either be sent to your last checkpoint, or the start of the level.

WhenThe [[Bounce Block]] is a block that when colliding with this block, it bounces you off it, as if it were a trampoline. Which direction it bounces you depends on the rotation of the block and the angle you hit it. You will bounce off at 80% of the speed you hit it at. It was added in v0.22.0
