Fling glitch

The fling glitch or fling mode effects the player when the head is inside a block. The block type does not matter. While inside a block the “mode” that the player is effected by is based on what is going on at coordinates 0, 0, 0. Whatever block covers these coordinates determines the effect on the player. If the block is solid, the player will float. If there is nothing, the player will be in “generic fling mode” and will fall. If there is lava, the player will die. If there is a breakable block, the block will break when the player enters a block, and the player will float or fall based on whether the breakable block is solid or not. Using grapples, wood, grabbable, or other blocks that can be interacted with your hand will not have an effect on the player as the only effected part of the player is the head itself.

As an extra to this, positioning a slide right under 0, 0, 0 will cause players within blocks to slightly float up while being pushed in the direction of the slide.
