.index, 'dotindex' also known as twhlynch, is a moderator and tester for GRAB. He is known for making different tools to create modified levels, such as his web editor at grab-tools.live[1] and scripts like Mp42Grab. .index is a member of AFT Studios. .index is the current host of the SMORGASBORD series, and owner of the SMORGASBORD discord[2]. He is also the owner of the main modding discord server[3].
.index runs his TikTok, @dotindex posting random levels, SMORGASBORD levels, SKILLS ONLY levels and mods. His best video is "SKILLS ONLY GRAPPLER without skips" which achieved almost 400K views. He also has a lesser used YouTube account also @dotindex where he has his BAD APPLE IN GRAB video.

Generally, .index is dark gray (0.02, 0.02, 0.02) primary with bright cyan (0, 1, 1) secondary color. He wears the black bunny ears from the first easter pack, the space helmet, the vr headset, and the claw hands. His grapple tends to change based on which ever grapple is longest at the time. .index has changed his preferred color twice since he started. Initially he was darkest gray primary with darkest purple secondary, and when the illegal colors exploit was found by EBSpark and him, swapped to pitch black primary and glowing cyan. Later after this was patched he swapped to his current customisations.

The Website Rick Roll
”My greatest achievement” - .index
On September 29th 2022 at 4:38pm GMT, .index published a level called just a test 2[5]. This level's description contained a XSS exploit that would replace the background of the Grab Website with a rick roll. This exploit was later patched by Slin but .index's profile was permanently updated to include the rick roll as a sort of easter egg to remember the event.
Tools/Mods
.index’s biggest tool is the advanced level editor. A combination of many other tools that can be used to generate modded levels and edit them in JSON.
Pixel Art
.index has created many pixel art generation tools. The first being the image generator also available as part of the editor, and the second being Mp42Grab, which you can download and make changes to the source.
Other
The level compiler allows you to merge levels into one, grouping them in doing so. This is also the tool used to make SMORGASBORD. The bulk text tool allows generating large amounts of text in a line of signs. The level modding cheat sheet allows generation of a level with specific chosen modded objects of all possible types. It was created by .index and MiloJenSopha with the main goal of documenting all the possible objects. You can convert keyframes in blender into animations with BlenderFrames2Grab. You can extract Rayne models like Cosmetics with Rayne-SGM-to-OBJ. You can convert grab levels to .obj, .stl, and .fbx files with Grab2Model. You can export a ROBLOX Studio map to Grab with Roblox2Grab, created by .index and Person.
Statistics
.index also collects a large amount of data through scraping GRAB's API. This can be viewed as stats and leaderboards at grab-tools.live. View player stats, map stats, unbeaten maps, and more.
