Fallout: Vault Grab

From GRAB VR Wiki

Fallout: Vault Grab[edit]

"Fallout: Vault Grab" is a grab series currently still in progress made by Plushgaming and KooKooKrazy. It is inspired by Bethesda's Fallout franchise, and is a series in the "Awesome Series" tab in Best of Grab.

Part 1[edit]

Part 1 begins in your house, a Vault-Tec employee knocks at your door, so you go and sign their paper. Fast-forward to about 10 months later and bombs are dropping, and you run for the vault.

Part 2[edit]

You wake up in the vault, introducing the mechanic of talking. You realize your friend isn't with you, so you go to find the vault's residence document, which introduces the lockpicking mechanic. Making it to the overseer's room, you see they aren't there. You announce that your friend is gone, and that the overseer is too. Once you make it out, all hell as broken loose in the vault. You escape with your friend who did make it in the vault, ending part 2.

Part 3[edit]

This part begins as you escape the vault. You go back to your house, and see a note from your friend, realizing he might still be alive, you head to the nearby town. The man at the gate tells you he knows where your friend is, but you'll have to pay him for him to tell you. You find caps, and pay him. You head over to where he said he saw him go. Once you make it to the red rocket gas station, he isn't there.

Part 4[edit]

Part 4 begins at the gas station, seeing a note from your friend, you head out. This is the first fully open-world level. You can either head left to town, right to the factory, or just explore really anywhere. Once you head to town there is a map, showing where you needed to go is. Of you go to the factory, there is a man asking for scrap. If you climb to the top of the factory, there is a nuclear thing (I forgot what it's called). Heading to the radio station, you need to climb to the top to get the audio transmission thing. After listening, you go to Gentro Town to continue trying to find him.

Part 5[edit]

This level is mostly a short transition level with shops to spend your caps at. Now for the actual level, once you enter the town, you have to talk to someone to be able to enter. Once you enter, in front of you is a train car with a shop. To your left is a casino, a man trying to sneak Nuka-Cola into Gentro, and a red rocket with a dog, which will later come with you as a companion. The 3 shops each contain a specific category of items, armor, weapons, and miscellaneous. To exit gentry, you must find a code to the exit, which is in a trash can next to the man trying to get you to sneak Nuka-Cola in for him. Upon exiting, there is a short parkour segment, which then ends the level.

Part 6[edit]

This part starts as you leave Gentro, noticing that the dog came with you. You proceed downwards to the nearby town of previous vault dwellers from "Vault Build". You can enter vault build, although I advise against it as it is one of the worst interior levels as of writing this. Before that, you see one of the vault grab dwellers, and they want to fight you. You deal with them, and quickly move on to the gate to leave. You fight the man at the gate, continuing on finding a key to the nearby watchtower. Climbing up the watchtower is the end of the level.

Part 7[edit]

The level begins in the watchtower from the end of the previous level seeing your friend get captured by raiders, but when you go up to it all that's left is a mysterious device. You head to a nearby town known as "Fechvile", previously known as Frenchville of the state of Maine, you see a man greeting you as you climb down to the town. Once you reach the bottom, you can go behind you to a path leading to some people around a campfire, asking for some Temp-X in the hospital, because they are very cold. Continuing forward, you find the actual town, and some people around a nuclear bomb, asking you to join them in their ceremony. Someone asks you to take care of them, and somebody in the outskirts of town has a shotgun, and you can hire them to take care of the Children of the Atom. In the corner of the map is the Radrush Production Facilty. Continuing forward is the base of the Future-ers, who can get the mysterious device working.

Part 8[edit]

Part 8 is the longest singular work in progress level in the series, and on launch it included the levels of Part 8, The Lewit City Trader, The Radscorpian Den, and The Nuka-Store. Kookookrazy and Plushgaming are waiting until after Christmas to start work on the final level for Part 8, The Lewiston City Mall. Part 8 takes place in the outskirts of Lewiston, now known as Lewit City because of the letters that have fallen off of the sign. Going forward to the enterance you can see a giant tower, which is assumed to be the central headquarters of the Advanced Raiders. At the entrance, there are 2 men in armor, one holding a minigun, the other wielding a crowbar due to the fact that he looks similar to a certain theoretical physicist. They require you to have an entry card, found in the Lewit City Trader level, which is the main quest of the part. Turning left you can find the Nuka-Town, known as such because of its distinct love for Nuka-Cola, and the Lewit City Trader. To your right is the Radscorpian Den and 2 quests. Behind you is a man you can pickpocket, and the currently work in progress level, the Lewiston City Mall.
